Ever had the idea for the next great mobile game ? We are dedicating our site to help you get started learning to make your own GAMES !! It's actually easier than you might think. So if you want to learn some basics this is a great place to start.
As we quickly found out, there's many ways to make games.
With so many choices out there it's kinda hard to know where to start. We will be using and trying out various game making tools that are out there today. Most of the tools we have found are very low cost (under $100) and many are free. But don't worry .. almost all have free trial periods so you can jump in, learn, and then decide which platform(s) you will want to take deeper.
So far we have found as our favorites these 2:

The Game Creators "App Game Kit"
both will be used by us for this site and for most of any games we publish.
by the way.. Crazy Simple Software does not sell game making software or earn anything recommending them. We recommend them if we find they are highly useful, stable, and deliver on most of their promises. We ARE in the business of making our own mobile games for the app stores.

UFO X-Ray was created using The Game Creators "App Game Kit" Studio. (AGK) We are a very big fan of AGK !!. AGK has the ability to create fantastic games and allows you as a developer to have complete control over all aspects of the game. App Game Kit provides tons of online videos showing off skills of various developers who can show you the best ways to use App Game Kit to make mobile games for Android, iOS, Amazon Fire tablets and phones.
The AGK development studio installs easily and comes packaged with nearly everything built in.
Work In Progress ! ...
In this part of the site, you will be able to follow our progress as we embellish this simple classic arcade game... as we add our own image edits, movements and surprises you can follow along. When we're all done with this project, we'll publish it here on this site as a totally free online playable version (hopefully ) for everyone's enjoyment!
The project will be created using GameMaker Studio by YoYo Games.
After only a couple of hours, we had the 30-day free trial version GameMaker Studio installed on our PC and had watched thru several excellent built-in high quality tutorials to make a functional, really fun version of the gameboard and all the elements to form the basis of this project.
We're very happy to recommend GameMaker Studio to anyone who is just getting started programming. You will not need any prior experience at all to get started, which is one of the best things about it. You can choose to use "drag and drop" symbols to build the images and logic, or their amazing GameMaker Language (GML).
Why did we start Crazy Simple Software?
Crazy Simple Software wants to add the fun back to online PC games and mobile app games.
Our main goal is to create successful, fun, and safe mobile applications, providing players with clean, simple fun while reducing some of the clutter we see in many apps today. Like you, we just want to have fun playing games again and take out the "not so fun" experiences.
We also want to teach others how to make and publish apps just like we do to promote the principals of having fun again on the Internet, without all the unwanted and unsafe noise and interruptions.
